The Season of Easter 2021

April 4 - May 23

The Season of Easter (also known as "Eastertide") comprises

the 50 days beginning with Easter Sunday (this year, April 4)

to Pentecost Sunday (this year, May 23).

During this time the Church celebrates the resurrection of our Lord

by hearing, reading, singing, praying, preaching, and teaching on

texts from Holy Scripture that give testimony to Christ's resurrection,

the centrality of the resurrection

in the early Church,

and the themes of God's glory and victory

over sin, death, and the devil.

Come and worship with us this Eastertide!

(Holy Communion is normally served the first and third Sundays of each month.)

Refer to our "In Touch" messenger, as well as our monthly newsletter, TRW,

for the most current information regarding worship and ministry.

To receive both publications,

press the blue bar

at the bottom of this page

and follow the instructions there.

Everyone visiting our campus is asked

to follow St. John's updated protocols,

which include social distancing

and wearing face coverings.

Gloves and disinfectant wipes

are also available.

For online Children's Resources,

to print out a lesson and fun activities for kids,

based on each week's Gospel text.
